Dr. Haynes joined the practice in 2016. She was born in Toronto, Canada but grew up in Florida, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies magna cum laude from the University of Florida Honors Program. She then moved to New York City for medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and residency training at New York University. She also completed a Masters degree in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.
Her academic interests include global health, family planning, and gender studies. She has participated in volunteer women’s health programs across the globe in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Ghana, Uganda, and Israel. In her spare time, Dr. Haynes enjoys activities outdoors, trying new foods, and playing ice hockey.
She currently lives in New Haven with her husband Ben, a talented web developer, their daughter Vona, and their cat Humboldt.
